Running between 25 and 45 miles a week is how they train. The leading male runner (Ryan Ragoonath) has run a personal best of 16 minutes and 49 seconds for the 5K (3.1 miles ). Ryan described this season as ” Interesting and exciting ” and said ” I look forward to how the rest of the season goes”. Coach Kunkle says she hopes ” to get Ryan and Christina Nikolaou to make states”. Their next meet/competition is September 10th, at Mcalpine Creek Park.
